2011, Business 2.0, Podcast

I had a great time at PodCamp Nashville and it was great to run into Nashville area folks Dave Delaney (during my session ha! with never enough time), Mitch Canter of  Studio Nashvegas,  Todd McCalla of Cool (springs), Memphians: Walter White of the TEDxMemphis event May 27th), Tim Scoutelas of CA Media’s Clicks & CoffeeStacey Hood of many 2.0 community events in Birmingham, and last but only oddly because we tweeted to and fro but never met there, James Ruffer.

I arrived late and straight into a LaunchMemphis board meeting via phone. One empty printer in an auto-attendant and the parking lot we’ve stayed in every other year was in chaos. …but it brings people together: catastrophes are great community building events. Oddly, it’s the way we’re wired.

I saw Kerry Woo getting in some shots and I can’t wait to check ‘em out. #pcn11 like 2011 was fast and furious.

PodCamp Nashville is where I was first smitten with the ____Camp bug.  Now having organized 3 BarCamps, 2 SocialCamps, a TribeCamp, and a MobileCamp on the way, I wonder the reach of that first podcamp and how many people Dave Delaney and Marcus Whitney ultimate inspire, and it’s still too early to count.
